La Higuera Dasylirion Cedrosanum Sotol 47.8% alc

Master distiller Gerardo Ruelas is considered the leader of Sotol production in Mexico. His legacy has evolved in a number of ways from unique creations through the to diversity of the Dasylirion plants he procures and the history of the region and terroir he works in. La Higuera Sotol strives to go beyond the classic expressions of Sotol.

Sotol generally tastes more "forest-like" and green than mezcal, and the Cedrosanum variety leans heavily into dry, rich wood notes.

Smell : Woody notes, with charred ripe fruit and grilled fats

Taste : Smoked grass with touch of leather and sweet wood

The finish is dry and the texture is balanced.
