Derrumbes Oaxaca Mezcal 700ml (46.6%)

By co-fermenting sweet, earthy Espadín (85%) alongside delicate, wild Tobalá (15%), this Mezcal achieves a seamless blend of rich roasted agave and bright, elevated botanicals.

The Agave is cooked in an underground stone pit using black oak to give a light smokiness, which complements the mineral and fruit notes of the Espadin from which it is crafted. It is distilled twice in copper pot stills and rested for 60 days in large glass containers. 

Bottled at a traditional proof, this remarkable Mezcal retains full essential oils, deep flavour complexity, and a rich texture while remaining remarkably smooth to sip neat or mix into high-end cocktails.

On the Nose : Smoke, fruit (citrus, stone fruit), ash, and some sweeter notes like vanilla or butterscotch were commonly noted. Some found earthy or mineral scents.

On the Palate : Smoke, fruit (citrus, plum, raspberry), minerals, and heat were frequently mentioned. Some detected pepper, salt, or candy-like sweetness.
