ArteNOM 1414 SV Tequila Reposado 700ml (41.2% alc)
1414 Reposado highlights traditional estate-grown agave agricultural practices and the unique influence of bourbon barrel aging.
For ArteNOM Selección de 1414, Sergio and Jose Manuel Vivanco bring back the family's unique and extraordinary tradition of fermenting the agave mash with field-extracted wild yeast, for an unparalleled display of agave terroir in this delicious reposado expression.
Once the agave juice has been through distillation, it is rested for 4 months in used American white oak bourbon whiskey barrels.
Aroma: Highly aromatic and perfume-forward, showing baked agave, salted caramel, vanilla bean, and a unique vegetal note reminiscent of grilled jalapeño.
Palate: Very soft and viscous. Upfront notes of sweet roasted agave, chamomile, and cinnamon bark blend into underlying hints of baking spices, toasted walnuts, and light oak.
Finish: Clean, savory, and dry with a lingering thread of sweet baking spices, light pepper, and a rich buttery mouthfeel.
