Derrumbes San Luis Potosi Mezcal 700ml (44.4%)

This mezcal is made from the region’s wild Agave Salmiana, giving it a unique, vibrant flavor. Despite its abundance, this agave has a very low yield. The mezcalero needs up to four times as much of it to create an equal amount of spirit when compared to the blue agave used in the tequila region. 

Non-smoky, wildly savoury, and made entirely in a desert landscape without cutting down trees  - Maestro Mezcalero Manuel Pérez forages for dry Salmiana leaves and quiotes to use as fuel. The result is an incredible Mezcal that reflects the flavours of its surroundings like no other. 

It is floral, herbaceous and has just the right touch of sweetness to balance its delicate intensity.
