Bonete Raicilla Sierra is made with agave Maximiliana in a single distillation. The agaves are cooked above ground in an adobe oven with black oak firewood. They are then fermented with wild yeasts, and single distilled in a stainless steel alambic still.
Lemon, honey, floral notes and occasional earthy or smoky hints on the Nose and Citrus, tart apple, saline, and sweet tropical fruit, often with a buttery or lactic undertone on the palate.
The spirit is noted for its oily mouthfeel and surprisingly intense flavor despite a lower ABV. Overall, it is considered a satisfying, approachable, and highly drinkable agave spirit.
